Artist House

We were tasked with designing a house inspired by an artist of our choosing. The challenge was to identify what the artist was trying to achieve through their work and translate that into architecture. I chose surrealist painter Leonora Carrington initially because of how interesting her paintings were, but through research, was very impressed by her exploration of the subconscious and her passion for the unknown and for the fight against social issues.
